A VEGAN restaurant on the Isle of Wight is facing closure in two weeks due to the owner’s unforeseen personal circumstances.

Susa Plant Based Kitchen, found on Union Street in Ryde, is seeking someone to take over the cafe/restaurant.

The restaurant’s menu is full of healthy, homemade dishes, including scrambled tofu on sourdough toast, chickpea tuna salad toasties, nachos and bean chilli with avocado, and sweet treats such as scones and cakes.

Suitable for daytime and evening use, Susa had a total refurbishment earlier this year and has been decorated to a high standard.

Its owner, Su, said: “Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we are looking for someone to buy our wonderful cafe/restaurant.

“Susa has grown so much in the last six months and has been enjoyed and supported by our wonderful local community.

“We will be open as usual for the next two weeks, and after then, I will be closing until a buyer has been found.

“Thanks so much to everyone for all your love and support.”

The sale will include all fixtures and fittings, which will allow the buyer to open the business straight away.
